nurture.partner” simply called, the partner app is used by Partners, or 'Krishi Mitras,' who are the gig worker-field forces. They use this app to create and manage opportunities, their performance, and earnings.

With an increasing number of Krishi Mitras, as well as new user roles like machine operators, etc., it was critical to adapt the partner application to provide a better experience for all types of partners and their expanding tasks.

My role

I and one more designer jointly owned this project, while taking guidance and feedback from our manager.

1/ Problem

Based on research data, field team interactions, user interviews, and analytics, we realized that the current version of the app is not fulfilling the requirements of its users. Mainly, it lacked giving any direction, motivation, or sense of pride to our partners. Also, the current design was seen to be not a very scalable solution to incorporate all use cases coming in the future.

Project Duration

Officially, it was supposed to be a week’s sprint targeting one small problem at a time ....

But we made it into a month-long sprint

In our defense, we ended up covering a lot more use cases and seeing this as a holistic experience, so no regrets.

Cross-teams Brainstorming Exercise

A Day in the Life of Ramu, the Krishi Mitra

Untitled

To get a clear idea of what the problems are and what to focus on for the redesign, we conducted a cross-team brainstorming exercise, and invited product management, design, and research teams, to make sure we cover both user and business needs.

A total of 8 people participated in 2 sessions of idea brainstorming and voting.
